Richard T. Lane, MBA, CRPC

Rich LaneRichard Lane completed his undergraduate degree at Purdue University and obtained a Masters of Business Administration specializing in the pharmaceutical industry from The Haub School of Business at St. Joseph’s University. He has spent the last two decades working in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries. His experience includes a variety of positions in the sales, marketing and executive leadership of several of the nation’s top tier pharmaceutical companies.

Prior to obtaining his MBA, Richard Lane served as a territory and business manager for Bristol Meyers Squibb and Warner Lambert in the cardiovascular and diabetes markets in the mid west region. He had the opportunity to promote Accupril, Actos, Aricept, Avapro, Glucophage, Norvasc, Pravachol, Rezulin, Zyrtec, and the blockbuster cholesterol medication Lipitor. Richard Lane was recognized as the top cardiovascular sales representative in the nation for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals posting the largest market share growth for Lipitor.

Richard Lane continued his success at Pfizer in several sales and marketing positions while earning his MBA with a specialty in Pharmaceutical Marketing. Upon completion of his masters degree, he played a critical role on the Viagra Marketing and Research team, growing Viagra to a multi-billion dollar blockbuster drug. Richard Lane left Pfizer in 2003, taking a position at Eli Lilly as the launch specialist for Cialis. Richard’s efforts helped Eli Lilly surpass the 1 billion dollar sales goal for Cialis, solidifying the drug as a blockbuster pharmaceutical product.

In 2005, Richard Lane served as Global Director of Sales for TLabbs, the nation’s largest provider of natural supplement ingredients. He also started consulting for the United States government Department of Defense to formulate several bio- pharma products for field utilization for the United States Army. Internationally, Richard Lane consulted for many large corporations including Proctor and Gamble, Elgin Corporation, Revlon, and Indukern International to incorporate nutraceutical ingredients to enhance existing products.

Richard Lane currently sits on the Board of Directors for the South Brevard Sharing Center and serves as the President for the Melbourne Beach Rotary Club. He is a member of the Maclean Society and Past President of the Chi Phi Fraternity. He has a passion for mentoring today’s youth into tomorrows’ leaders and is active with the Boys and Girls Club of America.
